PELATIHAN TEKNIK PENDINGIN AIR CONDODITIONER(AC) DI PT WAHLRAB MUKANING BATAM

Abstract

ABSTRAK Permintaan AC juga terus meningkat lantaran kegiatan work from home (WFH) masih menjadi kebiasaan bagi sebagian masyarakat Indonesia di tengah meredanya pandemi. Dampak dari permintaan AC juga terus menyebabkan meningkatnya kebutuhan teknisi untuk memasang dan merawat AC. Tentunya, kebutuhan teknisi service air conditioner (AC) juga meningkat pesat. Salah satunya PT Wahlrab muka kuning batam sebagai perusahaan multinasional yang bergerak dibidang elektronik dalam rangka pemberdayaan karyawan membutuhkan pelatihan pendingin atau AC untuk mengkondisikan proses produksi. Pelatihan ini diikuti oleh 6 peserta dari departemen facility dibagi dalam 2 (dua) sesi, yaitu sesi teori, dan sesi praktik. Pada sesi pertama, peserta diberikan pengetahuan terkait dengan teori berupa materi - materi penunjang praktik dengan metode ceramah, dan diskusi/tanya jawab. Selanjutnya sesi kedua peserta diberikan keterampilan praktik terkait dengan swaging ,bending, brazing, cutting dan pemeliharaan serta pemasangan  unit Air Conditioner (AC) (pembersihan indoor dan outdoor) dan pengecekan performa Air Conditioner (AC) dengan metode demonstrasi/peragaan dan praktek yang diikuti oleh peserta.. Pelatihan perawatan Air Conditioner (AC) ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan, dan keterampilan kepada karyawan PT Wahlrab khususnya teknisi facility  sehingga teknisi mampu merawat, memperbaiki serta pemasangan  Air Conditioner (AC) dengan  baik. Pelatihan dilaksanakan pada hari libur kerja  langsung ditempat kerja facility PT Wahlrab Muka Kuning Batam .Pelatihan pengabdian teknik pendingin atau Air Conditioner ini PT Wahlrab bekerjasama dengan balai pelatihan Equalita Learning Center untuk  meningkatkan kemampuan teknik facility PT Wahlrab yang handal dalam pemeliharaan serta pemasangan  unit Air Conditioner (AC) Kata Kunci: Air Conditioner, swaging ,bending, brazing, cutting ABSTRACT Air Conditioner (AC) demand also continues to rise as work-from-home (WFH) activities are still a habit for some Indonesians amid a pandemic. The impact of the AC demand also continues to lead to an increasing need for technicians to install and maintain the AC. Of course, the need for air conditioning (AC) service technicians is also growing rapidly. One of them is PT Wahlrab, a multinational company that moves in the electronic field. In order to empower employees, they need cooling training or air conditioning to condition the production process. This training was followed by six participants from the facility department, divided into two  sessions, namely the theory sessions and the practical sessions. In the first session, participants were given knowledge related to the theory of material and material supporting practice with the method of lectures and discussion/question answering. Subsequently, in the two sessions, the participants were given practical skills related to swaging, bending, brazing, cutting, and maintenance, as well as the installation of air conditioning (AC) units (indoor and outdoor cleaning) and checking the performance of the AC,, with the method of demonstration, care, and practice followed by the participants. The Air Conditioner (AC) care training is aimed at providing knowledge and skills to PT Wahlrab employees, in particular facility technicians, so that the technician is able to care for, repair, and install Air Conditioners (AC). Training is carried out on the day off directly at the workplace facility, PT Wahlrab Muka Kuning Batam. Training and dedication to cooling engineering or Air Conditioner PT Wahlrab cooperates with the training hall, Equalitas Learning Center, to enhance the technical capabilities of PT Wahlrab reliable facility in the maintenance and installation of air conditioning units (AC).
