Abstract

We demonstrate the first symmetric 100G-PON based on 10Gbps optical devices supporting 0–20 km reach in O-band. Dispersion-supported equalization enables 25.78-Gb/s NRZ-oOk modulation/detection based on DMLs/APDs with a combined 3-dB bandwidth of 5 GHz.
