The Balance Between Benefits and Harms: An Applied Study on Some Financial Transactions Related to the Corona Pandemic

Abstract

The research examines the balancing between benefits and harms, and its applications to some financial transactions related to the Corona pandemic. This is achieved by explaining the reality of the benefits and harms, and the rules of weighting between them in the event of conflict, and then addressing some of their applications related to the Corona pandemic in the field of financial transactions, such as monopoly, pricing, closing markets, and how the benefits and harms are balanced in judging them. The research adopted the descriptive and analytical method, presenting scientific material and jurisprudential applications, in addition to defining and analyzing them. Among the most prominent findings of the research is the importance of careful consideration and balanced jurisprudence between benefits and harms when judging the calamities of the Corona pandemic, especially those related to financial transactions.
