Abstract
Lighting and air conditioning in a health unit are important factors for the development of activities in a hospital environment, so there is a need to look for more efficient systems that can provide electric energy savings in both light and air conditioning systems. The objective of this research was the analysis of the potential of electric energy conservation in Santa Casa de Arealva, through a proposal to replace existing lighting and air conditioning systems, by more efficient systems. There is a reduction in energy consumption of 27.78% in lighting systems and 8.78% in air conditioning systems.
