Abstract

Sven Brajer works at Technische Universität Dresden and received his Master of Arts from this institution. His main research fields are revolution and nationalism studies as well as critical examinations of current discourses of globalism. In his dissertation he analysed the völkisch spectrum in Dresden, which stood in stark contrast to the revolutionary Social Democracy of the German Empire and the Weimar Republic. In addition, he has published numerous articles on the political history of East Germany.
