The proposed low-pass filter based kinetic energy control strategy is compared with the traditional strategy in the simulation. Abstract
Based on analyzing the traditional wind power smoothing control method using the rotor inertia, this paper proposes a new power smoothing control strategy based on the kinetic energy by adopting the low-pass filter.
