Abstract

This paper is focused on the performance and limits of the boost rectifiers with unity power factor, in terms of the total harmonic distortion factor of the current drawn from the power supply. Different values of the prescribed output voltage are taken into consideration. The direct current control based on the output of voltage controller is proposed. The case study of a battery charging station, which is a typical load with increasing spread, is analyzed. The case of a DC motor operating at constant torque is considered too. The simulation results under Matlab-Simulink environment validate the rightness and feasibility of the control method and illustrate good performance of the system.
单位功率因数升压整流器的性能及限制
