Research on restoration and landscape remodeling of mining wasteland based on Brandi’s theory of restoration

Abstract

With the development of economic, the reconstruction of mining wasteland is more important. For restoration and landscape remodeling of mining wasteland, the Brandi s theory of restoration can greatly improve the appearance of environment, form a systematic landscape pattern, and stimulate the humanistic and economic values as ecological heritage. Taking the Banan mining site in Chongqing as an example, the concept of restoration of geological heritage is developed, the multiple meanings and values are extended. The results can make enhancement of the land ecological economy value, also can promote regional ecosystem stability and sustainable development of local economy.
