Abstract
Aim: The study, it is aimed to examine the content of postgraduate thesis studies on university campuses. Method: The bibliometric analysis method was used to reveal a general profile of the studies. 132 theses were reached through the CoHE Thesis Center database. The theses were analyzed within the scope of a year, type, subject, gender of the author, the title of the advisor, the language of publication, number of pages, the university published, type of university, institute, and department. Results: The theses published are mostly written by female authors, are generally carried out by advisors with the title of professors, and have a high percentage of the Turkish publication language. Master’s theses are the majority, and most theses have been prepared at the Middle East Technical University. The studies have focused on similar issues and the concepts of ‘accessibility’ and ‘sustainability’ have been studied on campuses in recent years. Conclusion: Although the first universities in the form of campuses started to form in the second half of the 20th century in our country, the first thesis was prepared in 1989. This situation shows that it is late in terms of timing. Today, with the increasing number of universities, the theses for university campuses will increase gradually
