Abstract

This chapter delves into the disastrous premiere of The Las Vegas Story where Jane and Robert Waterfield got into a drunken fight resulting in him hitting her repeatedly in the face. Jane was forced to the personal appearances with a black-eye and swollen jaw and lie about what happened. Also discussed is Jane’s cameo in Road to Bali with Bob Hope and Bing Crosby.
