Analysis of the transport and logistics potentials of the municipality and the formation of strategically significant directions of its development (on the example of the Nizhnevartovsk District of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug – Yugra)

Abstract

The subject of research: the transport and logistics infrastructure of the municipality as a component of transport and logistics potential. The purpose of research: based on the analysis of the transport and logistics infrastructure to identify the key areas of development of the Nizhnevartovsk district. Methods and objects of research: the object of research is the investment potential of the municipality (Nizhnevartovsk district).General scientific methods of cognition were used in the theoretical understanding of theoretical approaches to the content of the concepts of transport and logistics potentials of territories, tabular and graphical methods were used in the analysis of transport and logistics infrastructure of Nizhnevartovsk district, methods of strategic analysis allowed to formulate key directions for the development of its transport and logistics complex. The methodology of the study is based on the analysis of official municipal statistics (presented on the official website of the Federal State Statistics Service of the Russian Federation) and planning and reporting program documents of the regional and municipal levels. Main results of research: the components of the transport and logistics potentials of the territories were identified, as well as indicators of their assessment; the main indicators of transport and logistics infrastructure as the basis of transport and logistics potential were analyzed; strengths and weaknesses, as well as opportunities and threats to the development of transport and logistics infrastructure of the district were highlighted.
