Abstract
The paper proposes an energy efficiency certification methodology for buildings in Azerbaijan. The methodology is designed to provide a standardized approach for evaluating the energy performance of buildings and identifying areas for improvement. The methodology includes a set of performance indicators that are used to assess the energy efficiency of a building. These indicators are based on the building’s energy consumption, its physical characteristics, and its operational parameters. The methodology also includes a set of guidelines for the evaluation of the baseline level of the specific annual consumption of primary energy resources in building. The paper concludes that the proposed methodology can help to promote energy efficiency and reduce energy consumption in buildings in Azerbaijan, which could have significant environmental and economic benefits. The proposed certification methodology could be adapted and transposed to other countries in the region.
