Competencias de los municipios en materia de conservación de la biodiversidad

Abstract

The objective of this article is to identify the competences of the municipal and district authorities in matters of environmental conservation –specifically in situ conservation– within the framework of the environmental dimension of territorial management. Taking into account that biodiversity has a specific territorial expression in any region or municipality of the country; the latter are responsible for carrying out local actions aimed at protecting the biodiversity of their territories.
