This paper proposes a scheduling optimization model to determine optimal scheduling of wind power curtailment for islanded provisional microgrid with an objective to minimize operation cost and ensure generation-demand balance. The impact of the seasonal net load variability on the model performance has been investigated in this work. The scheduling problem is formulated as a Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP) problem and solved using CPLEX tool.
