Abstract

The main goal of the research is to increase the speed of exchange in broadband subscriber access networks, primarily using PON technology, since the needs of subscribers are constantly growing and modern structures can no longer provide them. This article discusses the PON technology, types of WDM technology, equipment designed for communication networks using WDM, designs and parameters of WDM multiplexers.
