Abstract
In the paper, we developed a novel method of soil moisture estimation in vegetated area base on the simulation result of Cupid model[1], and it was found that LAI and land surface temperture (Ts) appeared in logarithmic relation rather than linear traditionally TVDI (Temperature Vegetation Dryness Index) assumed.
