TESTE DE EFICÁCIA DA PRÓPOLIS NO COMBATE A BACTÉRIAS PATOGÊNICAS DAS VIAS RESPIRATÓRIAS

Abstract

Because propolis is largely used in the treatment of respiratory diseases, the study of the efficiency of this extract was necessary.. Thus tests were performed on three bacteria (Pseudomonas sp, Escherichia coli and Staphilococcus aureus), in the proportions of 30% alcoholic propolis, 15% alcoholic propolis, 30% alcohol and 15% alcohol, in order to test their antimicrobial properties. The aim of these tests was to contribute to the study of natural products that can be helpful in the prevention and treatment of illnesses.
