Industrial communication network with programmable logical controller as a nucleus of mechatronic laboratory

Abstract

This paper presents with the role of the programmable logical controller (PLC) in the mechatronic laboratory for the research on the electric vehicles, especially electric vehicle drives. The general specification and recommendation on the PLC characteristics for this purpose are given. Also some application of the PLC and test results are presented.
