Often decisions are made without a proper analysis of the compatibility of the child and family's requests, without in-depth consideration of family resources for a particular child. This contradiction can be removing by taking into account numerous indicators when selecting a substitute family for a child. The purpose of this article is to present the experience of using a digital platform as a technology for the family device of orphans. The article reveals the pedagogical essence of the platform presents the philosophical foundations and principles of creating a digital service, justifies the choice of the main indicators necessary for analyzing the situation. The main attention is given to the scientific substantiation of the use of numbers in the pedagogical process, the construction of a digital platform based on the principles of selection ofadvanced domestic and foreign studies in the study of the life of children in foster families. It is shown how the matrix of family selection for a child is formed, the criteria for the resourcing of a foster family are highlighted, and the main methods of collecting empirical material are presented. The program independently determines the red zones and gives a stop signal if there is a large number of risks in placing a child in this particular family. The value of digitalization of the processes of the family placement of orphans is openness, independence and consideration of numerous indicators of the functioning of the family system. Specialists, future parents and children themselves are invited to participate in the program. The creation of a service based on a charitable foundation strengthens public control over the decision-making of the transfer of children to foster families. This increases personal responsibility and awareness of decisions about creating a foster family.
