Abstract

This paper presents the design of a hybrid PID-fuzzy controller, for a dc/dc converter, which is intrinsically non-linear plant. The PID law is used as a base controller optimized for linear model of the converter, a fuzzy system is used for PID controllers gain control. The proposed hybrid system is evaluated by computer simulation for simple closed-loop dc/dc converters in respect of tracking performance, load regulation, line regulation and integrator component defect compensation of the PID.
