The periodicity of modernization of Chinese film can be divided into three periods: the modernization of Chinese film phase I, the modernization of Chinese film phase II, and the modernization of Chinese film phase III, respectively representing how the Chinese nation has stood up, grown prosperous, and become strong. The current issues for modernization of Chinese film lies in expressing the five dimensions of the Chinese path to modernization, and the ongoing advancement of the modernization of Chinese film III.
