BELEMNITES AND BIOSTRATIGRAPHY OF THE LOWER CRETACEOUS IN THE ANABAR REGION OF SIBERIA

Abstract

This work contains the conclusions obtained during the study of new collections and generalization of previously published works on the Lower Cretaceous belemnites of the Anabar region. Particular attention is paid to the discussion of imperfection of the subdivision of the Lower Cretaceous by belemnites; it is necessary to clarify both the boundaries of biostratigraphic units and the choice of index species matching the objectives of biostratigraphy.
