Abstract

The Improved Stratospheric and Mesospheric Sounder (ISAMS) is a limb-viewing infrared radiometer which measures thermal emission in 24 spectral bands, using both wideband (WB) and pressure modulator radiometer (PMR) techniques (Taylor, 1983).
