The Church Reform of Catherine the Great: A Social, Legal and Statistical Analysis (on the Example of the Vladimir Governorate)

Abstract

The article examines the position of church and monastery structures as a result of the church reform of Catherine II. F meaningful statistical analysis is carried out using the regulatory framework and archival materials. The conclusion is made about the influence of the process of secularization on the church and monastery system.
