Abstract

Evolution of IoT-empowered city-scale platform leads to migration requirements. All successful IoT systems need to address migration of existing or external systems. The author discusses the challenges of phased migration of heterogeneous IoT systems. Then, the author presents approaches of migratable architecture. Finally, the author proposes a partial adaptation migration architecture to cope with the challenges. The mapping architecture can provide a framework of accommodating evolution of heterogeneous IoT systems.
