Energetic parameters of induction motors as the basis of energy saving in a variable speed

Abstract

The purpose of the given paper is to consider energy saving with the help of an induction motor for a vari- able speed drive modernization. Realization possibility of energy saving ways at the expense of induction motor mod- ernization without transversal section change has been shown. Carried out economical calculations allow to note that ob- tained electrical losses cost decreases by 10 %, but the in- creased motor cost as the result of modernization will cover the expenses for less than five months.
