The complete structure is fed by 50Ω microstrip line resulting in two resonances at 3.9GHz and 6.6GHz. The two resonances achieve 6 dB impedance bandwidth of 76% (3.30-7.35) GHz. The proposed antenna also exhibits a stable gain of around 2.25dBi, efficiency of around 85% and approximately omnidirectional radiation patterns in the functioning bands of interest.
