Abstract
In OSI network management, information of managed objects is stored and accessed as a kind of database, the so-called Management Information Base or MIB. OSI management standards define management information with a set of templates using object-oriented concepts. In order to manage heterogeneous systems, each managed system needs to implement the MIB defined in OSI.
