Abstract

This paper introduces a flexible optimization procedure for microwave structures. The procedure is based on a seamless connection of the MATLAB optimization toolbox with MEFISTO-3D NOVA. Under this connection, MEFISTO-3D NOVA is used as an objective function server and the MATLAB optimization toolbox is used to adjust the geometric and constitutive parameters of the structure to obtain the target response.
