Abstract

: Education through literacy is, in fact, an educational and cultural movement that seeks the constitution of a complete human being, valuing its intellectual aspects. As a curricular component, literacy has specific objectives for human development and training, being included in all years of Basic Education. However, its applicability requires extensive knowledge on the part of teachers to reach their goals: the integral development of students. This is a research project, with the general objective: To investigate how the literacy curriculum component contributes to the development of students in the Early Years.
