Some projects were selected to participate in the process which aims to perform an active management of existing impediments mainly those affect more than one project because of its importance or being share resources among these projects. Abstract

In Software Engineering, the software development is subject to several uncertainties that need to be managed so that they do not interfere with the defined project goals. In this context, agile methods have emerged as an alternative that can bring better results for certain types of project. Technical reports show that the number of successful projects is lower than desired. One of the possible reasons is that there are many companies do not apply Risk Management or apply it improperly.
