Employers must therefore take cognizance of the fact that any attempt at controlling and eradicating the negative effects of occupational hazards or accidents would prove futile if the issues of socio-cultural values that control workers’ behavior are trivialized. Abstract
This paper highlights some pertinent issues regarding the effects of socio-cultural prac- tices on the health and safety behavior of Ghanaian workers.
