Abstract
Indoor air quality (IAQ) has long been a community concern since many individuals spend a large portion of their time indoors. The research objective is to investigate the IAQ in three offices located in Baghdad. This study presents and investigates the concentration of carbon dioxide (CO2) and respirable particulate matter (PM) with different diameters (2.5 mm, and 10 mm) also; this study investigates indoor air temperature and relative humidity. The measurement of CO2 concentration, indoor air temperature, and relative humidity was conducted in all offices, while the measurement of PM concentration was conducted in two offices. The measurement period was four hours (9.00 to 13.00). The results showed that the average air temperature, CO2, PM2.5, PM10, and TSP were within the recommended values by world heath organization (WHO) and ASHRAE. However, the average values of indoor air relative humidity in all offices were less than the recommended values by ASHRAE.
