The Sphygmomanometer is shown in the Fig.-1. The Physicians is used to measure the blood Pressure by using Pneumatic Cuff encircling the upper arm of the patient usually. An inflatable section of this Cuff is inflated by a small hand pump and the pressure in the system is indicated by a mechanical pressure gauge or in some models, a mercury monometer. The blood pressure is related to the flow of blood through bracial artery of human. Initially the cuff is made to inflate above the systolic pressure of an individual so that the atery of the arm is compressed which in turn resists the blood flow through the brachial artery. As the pressure of the cuff is released the blood starts to flow through the artery there by producing a vibration in the arterial wall. The pressure transducer transduces this vibration into electrical signal. The Physicians shall estimated the conditions the blood circulation of the heart of the patient as well as the obstruction the passage of the vein/artery of the heart of the patient. By using an oscilloscope as display device or using Monitor. Physician can detect primarily heart condition of the patient.
