Abstract

In this paper, a wideband planar dual-polarized dipole with two pairs of T-shape loadings is designed for the base-station antennas. The proposed planar dipole has a vertically printed feeding balun, easy to be fabricated and mounted. The bandwidth of traditional printed dipole can be enhanced and the profile can be reduced. Two such dipoles are cross arranged to realize a dual-polarized antenna.
