Abstract

The detection and characteristic of partial discharge of oil-paper insulation is an important means to detect the insulation status of converter transformers. In this paper, we simulate the actual operating environment of transformer, establish the oil-paper insulation needle-plate model, and obtain the partial discharge signal data under different conditions by changing the thickness of cardboard and the spacing between needle and plate.
