Abstract

5G scenarios entail stringent requirements such as ultra-low latency and ultra-high reliability. Consequently, bringing computing, storage and networking resources to the edge of the network has become a key element for 5G deployment. However, capital and operational expenditures need to be carefully taken into consideration to achieve cost-effectiveness in this scenario.
