The Kiwira Industry and the Later Stone Age of the Nyakyusa Basin

Abstract

The ‘early Late Stone Age’ Industry here described is from an open site in an area of high rainfall in south-western Tanzania. The assemblage, lacking heavy tools, is of particular interest in relation to this environment.
