Finally, the NTSMC is applied on the DC side through a Boost Converter in order to have a less complex control algorithm which can be easily implemented on a microcontroller. Abstract

This paper proposes a new type of Nonsingular Terminal Sliding Mode Controller (NTSMC) for a variable speed Horizontal-Axis Wind Turbine (HAWT) with a direct drive Radial Flux Permanent Magnet Generator (RFPMG).
