The ultimate goal of the research is to develop an appropriate calculation methodology for assessing the quality of waterlogged lands in the conditions of the humid part of the Non-Chernozem zone of the Russian Federation. In the introductory part, the authors show the analysis of the current state of the issue. The main part characterizes the essence of the proposed calculation methodology, provides the calculation formulas and the features of establishing their structural indicators. Abstract

The material of this work is of a scientific and methodological nature; it is included in the subject of a new scientific direction - the justification of land management projects on a landscape and ecological basis.
