Abstract
A hydrodynamic model was developed that takes into account the kinetics of heterogeneous phase transitions (melting and evaporation) under the action of pulsed laser radiation on metal targets. With the use of continual and molecular dynamic modeling, the initial stage of the explosive boiling of an Al target under the influence of ns laser radiation was studied.
