Abstract
Due to the increase of complexity in the flow of a customized order in the production process, it is necessary to develop new software models to automate complex modular systems and integrate digital technologies to merge the real factory with its digital shadow in a standardized coordinate system. This paper describes a software control following the characteristics of the ultra-flexible production systems using a modular robot and its digital model as a prototype. The final result shows that the robot, seen as a module of the factory, can be modeled, modified and manipulated along with its digital model in an intuitive and user-friendly way through an interface using a game engine.
