Recent developments in conventional soft magnetic materials

Abstract

Recent developments in conventional soft magnetic materials, with parti- cular reference to their applications, are discussed under three main headings : grain- oriented silicon-iron, high permeability materials and thin ferromagnetic films. Ferrites have been excluded since they will be the subject of a later article.
