The proposed antenna single circular patch radius is 3mm. The proposed frequency reconfigurable antenna contains a 3×3 grid of electrically minute circular metal patches. Every circular patch (pixel antenna) is works at a resonant frequency of 12GHz. The adjacent pixels are horizontally linked by PIN diode switches and the circular patches are vertically linked by micro strip lines. The frequency re-configuration is done with switching action that changes the current circulation on the surface of the antenna. The proposed antenna reconfigurable at resonant frequencies of 6.3 GHz, 8GHz and 10.4 GHz. various frequencies are selected by using PIN diode switches.
