Abstract

Gossip protocol is a randomized broadcast protocol proposed in the field of communication engineering. Gossip protocol is applicable to, for example, a routing protocol on the ad hoc networks. In this paper, we propose an extended gossip protocol which can deal with the multiple messages broadcasting, and analyze the percolation probability of the extended gossip protocol through the percolation theory.
