Abstract

Absrmcr-Consideration is given to image reconstruction when an object is irradiated by a traveling plane wave and a receiver scans the field in a fixed data plane. Obtaining data from a sufficient number of different input plane waves, computer reconstruction of a tomographic image can be carried out. When reflection data is used, simple Fourier reconstruction of some images suffers because of the lack of low frequency data. To demonstrate the technique, simhlation data for a simple object is used to reconstuct an image.
