Abstract

The present work aims to prove the validity of the well know stochastic dosimetry method for a low frequency near-field source exposure scenario. The interest in this thematic has grown since it was discovered that house electric devices could be significant for children ELF-MF levels of exposure. More in details, it was conducted the assessment of children exposure variability caused by 10000 different positions of a hairdryer as near-field source, in order to test the goodness of the method.
