Abstract

. In the article, the authors consider the place and role of the ecological cultural environment as a factor in the development and improvement of territories. The authors note that this topic is determined by the vital importance of solving socio-environmental problems for modern society. Human activities directly affect the environmental situation, which is constantly deteriorating. The authors focus on environmental culture as a system of knowledge, skills, values, human orientations in the field of science, art, beliefs, customs and traditions, as well as active work to preserve and improve the environment.
