Current distribution and return loss is used to verify the low pass implementation in simulation. The co-planar waveguide provides easier integration with active and passive elements and it provides flat transitional impedance for improved matching. Current distributions verify the low-pass implementation in the antenna. S11is shown for the verification of cutoff frequency, bandwidth and level of rejection. The proposed structure is simulated in HFSS software. Simulated return loss is below −10 dB for ultra wideband (UWB) lower frequencies.
