At present MATLAB SIMULINK is very much popular and usable platform for simulation. But there is no specified SIMULINK block of PMBLDC motor in MATLAB SIMULINK library up to 2018 (i.e. MATLAB SIMULINK version R2018b). This paper focuses on to this point to design a simulink block of PMBLDC Motor in MATLAB SIMULINK environment. A pulse amplitude modulated PMBLDC motor drive is also designed to monitor the performance of the designed PMBLDC motor simulink block. Both the steady state and transient characteristics are considered to analysis the performance of designed simulink block of PMBLDC motor which is found satisfactory. This PMBLDC motor simulink block can be customized to design any kinds of PMBLDC motor drive in MATLAB SIMULINK environment.
